Cookies and analytics
The public website works when you decline optional analytics. You can change your choice at any time using “Analytics preferences” in the footer.
Browser storage on the website
We use local storage to remember your light or dark appearance (botbento-appearance) and analytics choice (botbento.analytics-consent.v1). These values stay in that browser until changed or cleared. They are not a mailing-list subscription or an app account. Browser settings can block or clear storage, which may reset your preferences.
Optional analytics
When analytics is configured, the site asks before loading self-hosted Umami. Allowing it helps us understand page visits, referrals, browser and device categories and approximate location. The analytics service receives technical request information, including an IP address, when your browser connects. We do not intentionally send form contents, email addresses or messages as analytics events.
Declining does not affect reading the site or submitting a form. Changing to decline stops further analytics from this page and browser; it does not itself erase previously collected information. Use the contact form for a privacy request. Privacy tools may also block analytics.
App sessions and connected services
The app uses session cookies or device storage to keep you signed in and local caches to make conversations work. Sign-in and connected providers can use their own storage when you visit their authorization pages. Their policies apply to those services. A public-website analytics preference is not a consent setting for every app or third-party feature.
More information
Read the Privacy notice for how we use information and the Service providers page for the services involved. You can use the site without enabling optional analytics.
